SlotZilla: the two lines over Fremont Street
Downtown runs two zip lines from the same tower and they are not versions of each other. The lower Zipline is 850 feet, seated, from 77 feet up, $29. The upper Zoomline is 1,750 feet, face down, from eleven storeys, $49. Both take five dollars off before five in the afternoon, and neither is sold through this page.

Zip or Zoom
The two lines, decided
Different length, different height, different position, different weight floor.
The Zipline, the lower one. Eight hundred and fifty feet, launched seated from seventy-seven feet. It runs the shorter half of the canopy and it is the one families take. Twenty-nine dollars, or twenty-four before five in the afternoon.
The Zoomline, the upper one. One thousand seven hundred and fifty feet, launched from eleven storeys, ridden belly down and head up in what the operator calls the superhero position. It runs the full length of the Fremont Street canopy. Forty-nine dollars, or forty-four before five.
The difference is not twenty dollars of length. It is a different ride: the Zoomline is twice the distance, starts almost twice as high, and puts you horizontal under the light canopy with the crowd directly below. It is the one people describe afterwards.
The weight floor is the catch. The Zoomline starts at eighty pounds where the lower line starts at fifty. If you are travelling with a small child, the lower line is the one that will take them and the upper one will not.
Against the Strip line

The honest comparison is length against location.
SlotZilla’s Zoomline is 1,750 feet from eleven storeys, face down. FLY LINQ is 1,121 feet from 114 feet, seated. On distance, height and the position most people want, downtown wins and it is not close.
What FLY LINQ has is the Strip. You cross The LINQ Promenade at roof height with the wheel in front of you, and you land where the rest of your evening already was. Downtown you are downtown, which is a fifteen-minute ride and a different night out.
The other difference is the group. FLY LINQ fires ten lines at once, so four of you go together. SlotZilla launches in smaller numbers. If you are a family who wants to fly side by side, the Strip line is built for exactly that.
Prices land within twenty dollars of each other, so this is not a budget decision. It is a decision about which half of Las Vegas you want underneath you.
