The best zipline in Las Vegas: three lines, one straight answer
Three zip lines run in this city and a fourth closed in 2022. Ranked for one decision — which to actually book — the answer is the Zoomline downtown if you want the ride and FLY LINQ if you want the Strip, and there is no third option worth arguing about.

The ranking
In the order we would book them
Two of the three are downtown. The one on the Strip is the shortest.
1. SlotZilla Zoomline, $49. One thousand seven hundred and fifty feet, eleven storeys up, face down under the Fremont Street canopy. It is the longest, the highest and the only one in the position people actually picture. If you are going to ride one zip line in Las Vegas and you do not care which street it is over, ride this.
2. FLY LINQ, $40. Shorter and lower, but it is the only line on the Strip, it lands at the base of the High Roller, and ten lines fire at once so a group crosses together. For a family, or for anyone whose evening is already on the promenade, this is the one to book.
3. SlotZilla Zipline, $29. The lower downtown line: 850 feet, seated, from 77 feet. It is the cheapest and it takes riders from fifty pounds, which is the lowest floor of the three. That last fact is the reason to choose it.
Not ranked: VooDoo at the Rio. Closed permanently in July 2022. It appears on lists like this all over the internet and it has not run for four years.

- Published numbers, not adjectives
Length, launch height, speed, weight and price come from the operators’ own fact sheets. Nothing here is a feeling about which felt faster.
- The position matters more than the height
Face down at eleven storeys is a different experience from seated at twelve. Riders who have done both say the position is what they remember.
- Group launch is a real feature
FLY LINQ’s ten simultaneous lines are the only reason a family of four crosses together anywhere in this city.
- Location is not a tiebreaker, it is the decision
Fifteen minutes between them and twenty dollars. Where you already are decides more than any specification.
- Closures are stated
A ranking that still lists the Rio is a ranking nobody checked.
